actually UAE flights preferred by almost all over Air India flights. This is known to them. That's why indian govt. does not give new permits. monna Corona time lo cancellation flights evi kuda refunds ivvaledu. But All UAE flights refunded or gave future travel credits. Anduke evadu Air India flight prefer seyadu. 😁

Etihad Airways is in losses, in fact it has been in loss for at least 6 out of the last 10 years. 

Etihad is promoted by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the largest sovereign wealth fund who have assets of more than 800 billion..These guys have access to funds, if they agree, all it takes is few signatures to buy Air India as a whole, no other airline or group can even think of such a deal..

eithad ki air india konavalsina avasaram ledu as they already have Jet Airlines operating in india. anduke vallu pakkaki thappukunnaru.

With Covid and all the financial mess Air India was dealing with, May be TATAs can get it for a reasonable price. 

 

If they get it for a reasonable price, they may be able to turn it around.

well, at a point of time Etihad lobbied heavilly when air india disinvestments and diversity plans were all started..air india's international business ni separate entity ga chesi, when FDI was allowed and capped at 49%, Etihad made a move but peddaga workout avaledu...then they picked up 24% stake in Jet...

Air India lanti airline ni correct chestilo padithe, danamma dummu leputadi...it would be surprising but Air India has a very good modern fleet..and landing slots at premier destinations and primetime slots.

Air India was a Tata Enterprise and infact started by Tata and latter Indian GOI took over made it a public enterprise..if this happens Air India will be back to the parent group
