phatposts Posted December 14, 2020 Report Posted December 14, 2020 I do not recommend FD. If 1.5 Lakh is not a burden for you - invest in a low expense ratio, large cap fund. Many ETFs and indexes in India are fee heavy. They are getting lower, but something very important to lookout for. make sure it is invested in an elder person's name (like parents) and the kid is the nominee after 20 years or so. Quote
