No....its because of the politicians in India FT is facing issues.....they are a credible investment institution with guaranteed returns.......

Nope , their debt funds is a mess not because of political involvement . 

Their indian management is very corrupt , stay away

Fixed Deposit or Mutual Fund or Index investment edi better?

 

Mutual Fund or ETF is a better option. Axis Blue Chip Mutual Fund or SBI NIFTY ETF are my recommendations.

BTW....If you want to buy mutual fund, buy directly from the mutual fund house. Don’t go with mutual fund distributors. The expense ratio is 1% higher with regular mutual funds.

Also, don’t invest lumpsum. Do a SIP of 5000 every month and that’ll help with averaging and accumulation.
