i think it is coming from the news where..

Haryana MP took the first dose, and still became covid +ve..

the Dr has to say that, people will become immune only after second dose...

may be depends on how one's body reacts to the doses.

high risk ante old-age.. and those who have health conditions vaalla ki ivvamani approve chesaru (but not to those who are  iinfected with covid, becos vaccine is preventive .. it is not therapeutic to treat the infected, oka sari infect ayi thaggithe obvious ga antibodies develop aithay, there is no point in giving vaccine to them)

That is too early to say ... We do not yet know how long the immune system is going to remember the naturally formed antibodies... Its too early ... The same goes with Vaccine ...We need to wait more to understand to say that ...

Example is the Flu shot that we get every year ..torch.gif

I am not sure what vaccine that MP took... But There is a small detail that people miss here when using mRNA vaccine ... mRNA is sent into the cell to create a spike protein that resembles the COVID-19 causing virus for the Immune system to recognize and react.... So if you are testing before the second dose there are chances that you might end up testing positive.... which really doesn't mean anything ... The side effects will make you think you are having COVID as the side effects are close to actual symptoms like fever and other etc... if you have severe reaction to the vaccine then the symptoms are very close like breathing difficulty and etc... No Vaccine ever given in the history is a perfect... and nor will be the new vaccine ...

To the understand the 2 doses and 3 weeks difference in time.... People need to understand the very basic Immunology.. Innate and adaptive immunity and memory function of the cells .... avi cheppe anta opike ledu ..

My opinion... If you are healthy with no other diseases then go for it.... Nothing is going to happen ... If you are afraid of getting side effects that will be the case always even if you get COVID directly or if you are getting the vaccine in future... Think you are fortunate if you having access to the vaccine early and take it ... And avoid possible pain going through the COVID time ..torch.gif
