Singapore approves use of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine

Singapore has approved the use of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine, and the first shipment will arrive by the end of this month, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Monday.

“After studying the scientific evidence and clinical trial data, the Health Sciences Authority has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for pandemic use," Lee said in a televised speech.

Singapore's expert committee on COVID-19 vaccination said in a separate statement that the Pfizer vaccine will not be given to pregnant women, immuno-compromised persons and those under the age of 16 until more data are available.

Covaxin is a fully indigenously developed COVID-19 vaccine, with the largest Phase 3 clinical trials conducted in India, on 26,000 subjects across 25 sites.

Covaxin is based on a two dose schedule and its efficacy is determined 14 days post the second dosage. “If all goes well, the company is expected to launch it by February,” sources further said.

Yes... because we have a billion people and we have to supply different vaccines to the people every year, we have one of THE largest production facility The Serum Institute.....danni choosi development anukuntunaru ... Its just a manufacturing facility ....
