Jews , muslims many dont eat pork as pork dont aweat..the dirt stays in it outer skin.

 

Basically entire population wiped off in 300 bc because of disease from earing pig.

 

So abhramic religion dont suggest eating pork to avoid disease.. it became a religious after abhramic religions advocated against eating pork
