For those that do not work in IAM - people think SailPoint is an SSO tool. It is NOT. SailPoint is identity management access requests and access governance. It is not for access management. SailPoint and Okta (or ping federate) fall in a similar suite of products. They do very different things. Quote

They do very different things. @phatposts yes currently Okta and PingFed provide only SSO... but going forward they will eveolve with IAM management as well....one place suit... then Sailpoint will have to cede to them......
