A former Bajrang Dal member has been arrested by Udupi police for alleged smuggling and illegal cattle trade in Karnataka.

BB1c3tI5.img?h=0&w=600&m=6&q=60&u=t&o=f&Anil Prabhu, a former Bajrang Dal member, has been arrested by Udupi police for alleged smuggling and illegal cattle trade in Karnataka. Anil was arrested after another accused Mohammed Yasin was also nabbed by police for cattle smuggling.

According to police, Yasin had revealed Anil's deeds. The duo was involved in catching stray cattle in grasslands and selling them. Yasin is a resident of Hudco colony in Udupi.

The slaughter houses allegedly paid the duo for the cattle. Bajrang Dal has said it is no longer associated with them. Prabhu was a former office bearer of Bajrang Dal in Karkala Taluk in Udupi district.

Anil has now been sent to judicial custody.
