If you are spending some 400K+ or something around that, how can you commit to it without even seeing it once? Are you trying to save on the flight costs?

The property will not be more than 400k and it will be similar to the one he already bought it. How ever will be planning to visit a week before closing date and finalize but till then i can manage it right thats what i am asking.

Thank you for suggestions..the reason for not to travel is spouse is carrying & in last trimester and need to act fast to avoid inc in prices as that location is in currently booming...i posted this to get the opinions

Closing a house requires lot of work.. also, commit ayyaaka, if you don’t like something, it is something you have to live with... real estate prices in most of the suburbs of major cities are booming..

I think there is a mad rush to buy houses bcoz of lower interest rates.. but people forget that they are paying lot on the house price while thinking that they are saving on the interest rates..

that’s not at all a good idea, what if you don’t like something which might not be an issue to your friend. you can’t back off once you sign purchase agreement else you will loose deposit except if something is wrong with inspection or appraisal.
