Telangana woman dies of 'shock' after civic body dumps garbage outside house over unpaid tax

A 58-year-old woman allegedly died on Sunday morning due to "shock" over embarrassment after municipal authority dumped garbage in front of her house over unpaid tax in Telangana's district.

58-year-old woman allegedly died on Sunday morning due to "shock" over embarassment after municipal authority dumped garbage in front of her house in Telangana's Narayankhed district.

Narayankhed municipality officials dumped garbage in front of the house of Bhumavva on December 15 for failing to pay house tax.

Bhumavva's family claimed that she was "deeply upset" and felt "humiliated" after the municipality officials dumped garbage in front of her house.

Her health condition worsened on Saturday and the family rushed her to a hospital in Sangareddy where she died on Sunday morning.
