MANILA, Philippines – In Paniqui, Tarlac, a mother and her son died in the hands of a policeman who shot them pointblank over what appeared to be a personal argument. The unarmed civilians were at their home when the incident happened. Social media was on fire over the incident.

In a video circulating on social media, a policeman identified as Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Neuzca could be seen arguing with a man and old woman, identified as Frank Anthony Gregorio, 25, and his mother, Sonya Gregorio, 52.

 

 

The old woman was hugging her son, preventing him from fighting back at the angry policeman outside their home in Purok 2, Brgy Cabayaoasan in Paniqui, Tarlac at around 5PM on Sunday, December 20.

Paniqui police chief PLTCOL Noriel Rombaoa revealed that the altercation began when Nuezca complained about hearing an improvised cannon (boga) allegedly used by the family. Netizens are saying that this is too shallow a reason to make the policeman kill the two!

In the video, the family could be heard trying to stop the fight but towards the end, the policeman’s daughter came closer and shouted to them, “My father is a policeman!”
 

The old woman shouted back, “I don’t care!” But this appeared to have incensed the policeman who drew his gun and shot her pointblank in the head before doing the same thing to his son. The policeman could also be seen firing at a third person at a distance but only the mother and son died in the altercation.

An active member of the PNP and assigned at the Parañaque City crime laboratory in Parañaque City, Neuzca later surrendered to the Rosales Pangasinan Municipal Police at 6:19PM on the same day. He was immediately turned over to the Paniqui Municipal Police.

 

Calls for justice ring on social media, with netizens and personalities condemn the act of the policeman.

I don't like arab influenced sunni  Islam but some people trying to blame everything on muslims for every misgiving .

So far BJP is mostly bark , no bite but that might change after a generation or two . Pretty scary

I have no idea what arab influenced sunni is. 

bjp is biting even now, not just barking. you don't notice because its not biting our group. one day it will.

 burqa , beards and madrassas  were unheard of in indian muslims (even pakistani) until the 70's , oil money and expats working in gulf have romanticism of wahabi Islam from Saudi Arabia .

It's a worse ideology than Nazis as seen by the state of minorities where wahabi Islam is prevalent

At least they arrested the cop immediatly and sent him behind the bars.
