Entire Tollywood Lends Support to SBSB

Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh starrer “Solo Brathuke So Better” is the first major Telugu film that is hitting the screens after the lockdown.

From Mahesh Babu to Sharwanand, Ram Charan to Ram, all the stars have been tweeting about the movie urging people to go watch it in the theaters.

Directors, producers, journalists, and other technicians are also promoting the movie on social media to encourage the general public to watch the movies in the cinema halls again.

It is a crucial phase for the movie industry. The coronavirus pandemic has almost killed the theatrical business.

The entire Tollywood industry is backing this movie so that the audiences would throng the theaters.

The romantic entertainer is also showing a good trend of advance bookings despite the COVID19 scare.

If this film manages to bring in the audience, we will get to see new releases every week in the coming days.

Cinemas have been shut down for almost nine months leaving the film trade in dire straits and the situation wouldn’t get better unless notable films hit the marquee. One of the producers had to take the risk to see how filmgoers respond to a new release in theaters. The makers of Solo Brathuke So Better had the liberty of taking that risk as they sold the entire rights of the film to Zee Studio.

Thankfully, Zee Studio didn’t go for direct to digital release and opted for theatrical release. Hence, SBSB has become the first major Telugu film to hit the theaters post lockdown. Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh as the lead pair, the film is directed by Subbu and bankrolled by BVSN Prasad. Whole Tollywood is eagerly waiting for the box office result of SBSB as there are more than half a dozen films waiting for release.

Filmgoers have responded well despite the news of new strain of coronavirus rising concerns. The bookings of SBSB have been pretty decent considering the current situation. It can set the cash registers ringing if it generates good word of mouth. A lot depends on how the film turns out to be. The movie unit seems to be pretty confident about their product. Stay tuned for the movie’s verdict that will be out in a few hours.
