the data is not sufficient enough to make any conclusions about why these people dropped out.

I'm only amused that more than half OC guys dropped out after clearing the great JEE test.  shows how useless that test is in filtering the 'best' in India. 

clearly these dropped out OCs are not the 'best', unless we are given information on why people drop out and at what levels.

anyway this isn't worthy news. IITs have long abandoned the purpose behind their institution and are basically useless and should be disregarded now by public.

They are tryig to implement this in other institutes too. 'Institutes of Eminence' ani cheppi oka pedda list tayaru chesi, they are pressurizing Chennai's Anna university to join it.

Its director when asked, what will happen, if we increase fees for students after getting that IoE tag ante, he openly said "thats their problem. if you can't put up with the money, they should study in some local college".

this is new India.

but then you can easily come to that conclusion if you actually talk to someone from IIT. most of them are dumbfcuks.
