again. what is open mindedness? Mumbai's architecture is good, its denser and more beautiful than most cities in India. Calcutta is even denser and even more beautiful.

I don't understand what open mindedness is. I just think the denser a city is, the more open minded its people are.

delhi, bangalore, and to an extent Hyderabad(beyond the old city) are all recent ugly urban sprawls and cannot count as cities.

Open minded in-terms of love, marriage(inter faith, inter caste and across regions), sex, religious tolerance, acceptance to other cultures, extroverted nature of the people, not mind others business. If you are brought up in Mumbai there is greater than 50% chance you end in marrying someone not from your caste or region.

Probably the only city in India where I saw woman traveling alone beyond 10pm.
