Don't forget Columbus wanted to come to India because of its wealth and by mistake he discovered a land, now called as America. Americans owes a lot to India.. incase there was no India then there was no America. But, who looks back when they are having good time? India is the richest country in the world even today although Britishers looted its wealth. All commenters would not have as much gold in their house as they will find it in a middle class Indians. In India you can live with $2 a day. This is impossible in any western country. All Americans are migrants 'coz they didn't find opportunity in their on country but, all Indians are of its origin. Ther is only 1% of Indians in America and still so called Americans are jealous on them. Citi bank CEO is Indian, Pepsi CEO is Indian, If you add Reliance brothers wealth they are far rich than any other person on the planet, UK wealthies person Lakshmi Mittal is Indian, 75% of all motels in US are owned by Indians, dunkin donuts, convinient stores, Gas Stations, dollar stores are all Indians owned. Still they are down to earth. You will never find ego in them. They rule on heart whereas Americans dance for money. Never try to demean our country. Just try to save what you have. America has seen wealth only in last 3-4 decades.. India has seen welath for centuries. India has lots of potential to grow again. America once gone will be gone forever.. All countries have good and bad.. try to do good, help needy regardless of what country he/she belongs to.. that's all what matters.. boundries are drawn by human beings not God. The wold is one country for God.

First of all, I would like to clarify that I am an Indian and I dont demean my country.
Your post is full of errors w.r.t Western World but that doesnt mean that I am insulting India.
US has been a country enriched with 'thinkers' those ceased to exist in India centuries back. In fact US is nothing but a conglomeration of western European states (now became countries like, UK, France, Germany, Sweden etc). These very Western Europen countries are be prayed by everyone in the world as they have given the world a science called 'Physics'.  Just have a look at 1000 most influential scientists (in Physics, Chemistry and Applied Physics) that the world has been bestowed with in last four centuries. You find that 900 of them belong to Western Europe ( which now is called as Éuropean Union'). With out them there is no Power, no advanced medicine etc.
We have got Susrutha and  Dhanvanthary medicine 3000 years back...but soon it got vanished..surely westerners are not the reason.
India has everything but lacks very key and essential elements.
Live your life in US or Western Europe. Observe how 'individual' and individuality  is respected. You will rarely find it in India. Respect is there but it has got its own reservations...like it depends on factors like rich, caste etc and etc and in all sense its a big joke.
The fate of India surely doesn't depend on the number of Indians heading US Companies. They select Indian CEOs on those US management is sure that they wont help thier home (India) country. Can you name on Indian American  CEO who really cares for India?
See the media in AP. what would you think? It is partitioned into 2 halves one each fighting for thier own Çaste' and how much they care about public of AP or India.
See the Bridge collapse in CWG games in Delhi...and if you stay in UK...see the news coverage in 'Metro'news paper today.
But we all live in a myth....Índia is GREAT.
