It's a pretty good score, I got 325 back in the day and got full funding. If he only wants to do a Masters degree, he could get a good TOEFL score and get TA positions, a lot of schools offer half to full tuition waiver.

I considered it a useless without funding. They don't even need GRE.

If one professor doesn't offer you funding, you won't get funding ani meaning aaa? I don't know of schools that give PhD admissions without funding.

I don't know. Anyway i'm not passionate about phd. Just wanted to spend some time in usa.
