RSS had a long policy of small and weak states. The use the word "decentralization" to hoodwink the "educated" (aka dumb) in india. But there is no decentralization - powers will be kept with delhi but states will be divided. During ap state division bill the freindship between BJP and COngress right at the time of election was stunning.

There are no grand conspiracies. Just bunch of things that happened to coincide with the rise of right wing.

mainly slowing down of India's economy by 2012. It was inevitable after that.
