I was told that consulate is yet to begin the operations when I contacted immigration team to book an appointment for stamping for dependents but that doesn't seem to be right info as per your post. You have same problem as mine. my cousin has same name as mine including first name and last name.. he is on H1b and I am citizen, when I visit India I will tell Indian & US embassy to verify with combination of Date of Birth , first name and last name . Check out whether any of your relatives have same name as you who are US citizens.. Quote
