uncles... late ga adgina latest  ga asking ..oka question... for example all the downgraded folks till 2015 got approved 485s ..will their count be removed from eb2 and vacuum gets created in eb2 and counted in EB3??  or until they get gc their count remains in EB2?

Once you downgrade your case from EB2 to EB3 (be it new 140 or amending existing), your A# is now listed under EB3. They no longer report under EB2 regardless of 485 status. (CO confirmed this during July VB Call, you can cross verify) 485 is just to issue GC but in a given year you can only have a X number of 140's combined (EB1 + EB2 +EB3), so moving back and forth buckets (Categories) doesn't mean anything for 485. The total no. of petitions is what matters. Obviously downgrade is creating hype but there aren't so many downgrades.

mari concurrent filling kinda...if you take up any 485 .. you will be lost in others count kada..140 is not considered I guess.. only 485..CO said until the application is approved in the downgraded category.. still counted as EB2.. but he didnt mention if it's 140 or 485 though...most of my peers downgraded ..so. trying to have a guess
