Anyone changed employers after filing I485? Are you guys doing interfiling (is it possible) or just filing a I485J with the underlying EB3 I485?

Hi bro so what is your state if yiu never filed in eb3 like most of us last year best chance to file now if yiu have applied in eb3 and not used ead with same employer

you can interfile as long as you stay with same company you can interfile (different company kuda kontha. mand yes antaru i am not sure

@csrcsr Bro, client is forcing me to join FT.. PD is feb 2013.. h1 transfer approve ayyindi.. 2-4 weeks lo join avvaali... EB3 I140 also approved a week ago after applying for premium.. 

attorney initially said that they can file I485j to use the EB2 I140... not they are saying that the I485J application will only transfer the pending EB3 I485 to the new employer... they cannot ask USCIS to transfer the pending I485 from EB3 to EB2. I am totally confused.. I did not interfile yet..

Yes your attorney seems to be correct and genuine bro, because your eb2 140 beloings to the company not sure how new company can ddo iinterfile

So options for you (sorry for being practical) the safest and accepting the things they are so you will have peace of mind

1) Assume you till will be in eb3 and continue working on it as you got ead and 140 approvef you are safe you will be missing chance for eb2

2) request client ti wait for 6 months you can interfile this week and wait for 6 month and jump (I am in same situation trying to save my job for 6 months)

3) If you think that offer is great and you get lot of hike etc just take it and be on eb3 also explore the option if the new client can file new 140 in eb2 just in case if we need in the future (Not sure how this works)
