buying a home is a min 10 yr plan, if you look for more sq footage, you may not have time to enjoy that sq footage as it will be lost in commute

do not use the COVID WFH in your long term planning buying that far

first thing i am not suggesting people to buy this home if you are not looking for a home in  frisco. If you are already shopping for a home in frisco, going to  mckinney doesn't really make diff for them saving alot on this home. If your plan is buying the home in irving or near DFW and no wfh flexibility neither this nor frisco an option for you.

i think its both first builders used to sell 20 homes a month but now they are selling only 3 and that too increasing 15k per month. Also there is shortage of construction material esp Lumbar. People also moving from CA due to better schools in DFW. Some builders are taking advanatge of it for eg landon homes in lexington country. My fnrs bough homes in that community fstarting from 450(impression series)-560(classic series) now they are seling same house for 700 Plus. So if you are really looking for a home not due to herd mentality buying home just 5 to 6 mile away is a good plan now
