Be careful with apartments, because some "Ellicott City" addresses are actually in Baltimore County. Baltimore County does not have the same good schools as Howard County. For example, I like Oella Mills, but it is Baltimore County. Any place along Routes 40 or Route 29 will be in Howard County. One example is Chatham Gardens. I can't tell you which ones have more Indian people. However, just look for the best middle schools with a tool like SchoolDigger, and then see which apartments are nearby the school. I am sure the other Indian families will be looking for the same schools. For example, look for apartments near Ellicott Mills Middle at 4445 Montgomery Rd or Burleigh Manor Middle at 4200 Centennial Lane. Burgess Mill Station is near the Burleigh Manor Middle School. However, the website for the Burgess Mill Station sounds great: it is near the county Community Center with an indoor pool and fitness center. Apartment website here: http://burgessmillstation.com/ I checked the school assignments for Burgess Mill station, and it is for Dunloggin Middle, and Centennial High. Dunloggin is very good, and Centennial High is the best high school in Ellicott City.
