Iraq Court Issues Arrest Warrant On Trump

Donald Trump is one of the names that always create a sensation when stuck in the headlines. The American President who will complete his tenure in a few days is now in big trouble. Going by the news reports, an arrest warrant was issued against Donald Trump in connection with the killing of an Iranian general and a powerful Iraqi militia leader last year.

A judge in Baghdad’s investigative court has passed the verdict in probing the Washington-directed drone strike that killed Gen. Qassim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. Both of them were killed outside the capital’s airport in January last year.

Al-Muhandis was the deputy leader of the state-sanctioned Popular Mobilization Forces. Soleimani headed the expeditionary Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. Trump was charged with premeditated murder and if he gets convicted, it will be a death sentence.

The complete details regarding the case will come out soon. Trump is already into a lot of controversies and this one just stuck him at the wrong time.
