Home Schooling for Kids

I have a friend from Btech  who is a strong evangelist. When he worked in India, he used to donate around 50% of his salary to his church. he and his family have moved to Houston Texas, working for a Big IT consulting firm around 10 years back. 

I was talking to him and when kids and schooling came, he mentioned that they are home-schooling their kids. He and his wife feel that public schooling in US does not convey Christian Value. 

He mentioned issues like trans kids in school, sex education, early exposure to dating etc. It seems the public schools there have a few trans kinds and that really bugs him.

It was so ironic , Indian Christians feeling that US is not Christian enough. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I too have a christian friend in USA - Indian. His family dont celebrate Easter, Halloween. They dont decorate house for christmas. Inka chaala unnayi. Why antey it is against the Christian values and core beliefs ani cheppadu. Ikkada white people chestharu kada antey - veelaku thelidu asalu christianity antey. They dont have time for religion antadu. I was surprised first, now I got used to his piousness.

Irrespective of religion- I think home schooling is good. For values and morals homeschooling and for socialising and friends school ki pampaali.

I have heard Andhra Christians calling Halloween not Christian. Easter it seems is only for Catholics. 

The biggest joke - when i argued with a Telugu Christian guy on Christianity, I asked him who gave power to Pope and about Catholic organization, He replied that Catholics are not Christians. 

I was never a fan of Halloween, But i like Halloween a lot now.

Catholics are not christians. Catholicism is equal to devil worship antadu.

Parents will have to teach. The parents will have to go to the local public school and file documentation, that they will be home schooling and they have the eligible education to teach. They also need to document what they will be teaching. The parents have to cover mostly English, Math, and Civics.

That is the basic tenet of Christianity, Everyone is a sinner, Unless you repent and believe in Jesus/God, You wont be saved.

One has to be Saved from eternal Hell. It Seems the human kind has sinned and jesus redeemed all of us by dying for our Sins. But still somehow we have to believe in Jesus and then we will be Saved from eternal damnation. 

The concept of "Vicarious redemption" itself is quite stupid. If one person has sinned, how can anybody else redeem it. Even if one thinks redemption works. Can every sin be redeemed, There would be repercussions. 

I am joining a Divinity school for an MTS degree in Fall 2021. I am pursuing comparative religion studies.

jesus died on the cross is also still debatable topic. jesus was not the only one who was on the cross at that point in history. that was general punishment for people who rebelled. they were tortured on the cross and then later removed from the cross and killed.
