With all the cards and license etc? What r the next steps? Calling cops and launch complaint? and banks to deactivate them?

File a police report. It will help for any identity thefts. Call your financial institutions and place a hold. Start with Debit accounts. Credit accounts can be taken care next. Report to DMV about your loss of driver's license. Get a new one issued if you have a copy of your old one.

i lost 2 times.. go to police station and file a complaint.

call all banks and let them know. Most bank websites have lock card feature , so do it your self.

mostly you have to go to DMV to get a new licence , monitor your credit for few months.

lost once but somehow they mailed me the wallet to home with a card in it. Changed my card and bank details but got my other stuff from the walet safely. Wanted to send them some kind of a gift as a return but their address was not clear and could not locate.

Lost on Dec 31st night in a pub in NYC. Spent 30 mins on calls to banks to cancel the cards. Didn't file any complaint.
