No , he is nota selfish man .he even dissolved all his fan club's after a fan died by electrocution for trying to erect a banner . He does not want anyone to put any fan in harms way .

Compare that to our  selfish heros ..for example 3 PK fans died doing the same , he gave them 2 lakh each and a Twitter message .

Ajith keeps a low profile and has also disbanded fan clubs . Hence it might see like vijay has more fans . But , in reality Ajith's fan base is much more than any other Tamil Hero at the moment 

But for ajith he doesnt need big directors for Blockbuster. Even with an average director like siruthai Siva he can give blockbusters ( Veeram, Vedalam) . Vijay's fan base is highlighted by media through audio launches and many public appearances, whereas,

No caste is involved, in fact many people think vijay is from lower caste , he is not, he is from. Isai vellalar (land owning agrarian caste) , I don't care which caste he is, but his acting seems mediocre
