తమ స్నేహితురాళ్లకు ఆకట్టుకోటానికి ఇద్దరు యువకులు సెల్ ఫోన్ దొంగలుగా మారారు. మహారాష్ట్రలో, పింప్రి చించిన్వాడలో నివసించే ఇద్దరు యువకులు అమ్మాయిల ప్రేమలో పడ్డారు. వాళ్లుకు గిఫ్ట్ లు ఇస్తూ వాళ్ళను ఆకట్టుకుంటూ వారితో కాలక్షేపం చేయ సాగారు.

 

ఈ క్రమంలో వారు సెల్ ఫోన్ లు దొంగతనం చేయటం మొదలెట్టారు. ఆఫోన్లు తీసుకెళ్లి తమ స్నేహితురాళ్లకు బహుమతిగా ఇచ్చేవారు. చోరీ చేసిన ఫోన్లు స్నేహితురాళ్ళకు ఇచ్చేప్పుడు వారివద్దవున్నపాత ఫోన్లు తీసుకునేవారు. జల్సాలు చేయటానికి డబ్బుల కోసం ఆ ఫోన్లను మళ్లీ అమ్మేసేవారు. బాధితులు ఇచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదుతో పోలీసులు గాలింపు చేపట్టారు.

 

వీరి గురించి పక్కా సమాచారం అందుకున్న పోలీసులు ఆరు గంటల పాటు వారి కదలికలను కనిపెట్టి ఆరెస్ట్ చేశారు. నిందితుల వద్ద నుంచి మూడు మోటారు సైకిళ్లు. రు.2.42 లక్షల విలువైన 26 సెల్ ఫోన్లు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. నిందితులను కోర్టులో ప్రవేశ పెట్టగా వారికి జనవరి 17 వరకు రిమాండ్ విధించారు. స్నేహితులిద్దరూ పింప్రి చిన్చివాడ ప్రాంతంలో 9 చోట్ల దొంగతనాలకు పాల్పడినట్లు క్రైం బ్రాంచ్ పోలీసులు తెలిపారు
