The anti-corruption unit of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked several CBI officers and is conducting raids against them at several locations. These raids are being conducted in relation to a corruption case involving bribes that were paid for a bank fraud.

One of the raids on Thursday was carried out at the premises of a CBI official in Ghaziabad, currently posted in the CBI Academy.

CBI has filed a case against four of its officials, including RK Rishi, a DSP rank officer posted at CBI Academy in Ghaziabad. The other three are DSP RK Sangwan and two officials from BSFC (Banking Security & Fraud Cell) -- Inspector Kapil Dhankad and Steno Sameer Kumar Singh.

The CBI has booked its own officers in a case of alleged misuse of official position and corruption in favouring companies accused of bank fraud.
