R.R.Giger’s art did set the tone tbf. If you look at the same in Prometheus, he is much smaller and almost human like. Moreover, the first two movies never make any references to them being human. They just come across an sos signal from a downed warship. No relation to earth at all. The guy who wrote Prometheus was also the writer for Lost and he tied it with earth for no reason. Quote
