The whole reason why they referred to the 3rd umpire is questioning the onfield umpire's decision. And they are risking 1 of the 3 reviews they have. So once it's referred, it should entirely be upto the 3rd umpire to make the decision based on what he sees on TV. At that point, take out what the onfield umpire did. That's gone.
