What language do you speak at home who are married to partner who doesn’t speak your mother tongue

i feel over the years language becomes a barrier because we can express our emotions better in our mother tongue

We both speak english but I can understand spanish at least 80% but only mexican spanish though...I am trying to communicate in spanish too...
