She can stay here as long she has a valid receipt and your H1 is valid. If she has to go to india, she can go and show your H1 for stamping and come back. Most probably the H4 application in progress will get an RFE if she goes out of country Quote

If you get an RFE, you can respond with her visa stamp copies etc and may be they will approve then. Quote
