This is a perfect example of how media controls us. 

 

They decriminalized small quantities only (less than 1gm or something). Adedo lingo vundi kaani.. vaadey vaallu chepparu.. people typically carry 14 times the amount they decriminalized to get kick for one time. And then they typically carry product worth for many days. This is people using recreational only.
