Bro, very apparent that the person don't know what she is talking. Ask for a Supervisor. They need to provide you document until your recent I-94 validity. Visa stamp, passport, nothing matters. Ask for a Supervisor and show your most recent I-94. Govt entities have a software called SAVE (the Federal lawful presence program). If there systems are not update, they validate genuinity of your document in SAVE software. This will not be out of date. If they still argue, ask for the person who manages policy at the DMV. They should give you license until validity of your I-94 unless there is another state law. Real ID ki two valid identification documents kavali. This is where you run into needing a valid passport but there are ways around this as well. Real id pertinent rule , google for title 6 part 37.11 under Code of Federal Regulations. Quote
