Thes changes are inevitable  . 

Punjab farmer gets 19000 /ton for a low quality rice than even ration holders won't eat . 

Andhra farmer (rest of india )gets at best 15 k for high quality rice that is in demand in the market . 

Andhra Pradesh is the highest exporter in rice accounting for almost 40% of  indias rice exports but the most exported variety MTU-1010 gets only 12-14 k in our market .

They should have implemented the laws slowly and with consultations with farmers . MSP has created a system of imbalance in india where excess rice is being planted even when there is no demand
