CBN never supported privatization of Vizag Steel plant. In fact he resisted any move when Vajpayee Govt wanted to include in the list. During the Vajpayee Govt, Arun Shourie commerce minister ga unnappudu ee disinvestment thing started. It's good thing to dsinvest from inefficient Govt organizations.
