Nothing will happen to h1 if it is not expired. But you might have to file taxes as non resident. And non residents might have to pay more taxes. Quote

Taxes kooda picha lite just pay your taxes normally as if you were staying in US. Normally if you are in India for more than 6 months, you have to start filing your taxes in India but naku telsi evadu cheyyadu alaa.. Quote
