De Quervain's Tendinosis

De Quervain's tendinosis occurs when the tendons around the base of the thumb are irritated or constricted. The word "tendinosis" refers to a swelling of the tendons. Swelling of the tendons, and the tendon sheath, can cause pain and tenderness along the thumb side of the wrist. This is particularly noticeable when forming a fist, grasping or gripping something, or when turning the wrist.

Took 5-6 months for me to recover. Starting lo pain horrible.

Naaku Thump and wrist joint lo.. pain vunde... almost 2-3 months vunde pain.. 

I don't know the exact reason, naa best guess is Work from Home on Laptop for a long time without proper DESK. 

Went to doc, they suggested to use wrist support band.

took 2 cortisone shots but didn’t help much. After 5-6 months adhe thaggipoindhi

Gattiga one month vaadu. koddiga careful for with work and lifting stuff and little kids

The standard treament is rest, ice, anti inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or naproxen

For rest use splint for 6weeks

Apply ice for 15 mins every 4-6 hours 

If pain not yet subsided then your doctor may recommend cortisone injection

After pain subsides do simple stretching to regain the motion
