Few areas around downtown are safe to avoid... infact Johns Hopkins is in middle of those areas.. there are some good apartments in downtown and avoid going out late hours would serve your purpose temporarily... if you want a family stay life move to suburbs.. like Elliott city, Towson etc...

Covid time lo trains ante kashtam e, I travelled on trains in Baltimore before, it was way more scarier than Caltrain. I think some homeless people were smoking on the train in Baltimore.

Any place in Baltimore downtown is not safe after 8 evaro annatlu. Problem is crime is spread out there. Oka chota ani specific ga undadhu.
