Alaska is more beautiful i guess but summer lone vellali and its not so easy to travel. Manchi plan to vellali unlike for hawaii. I didnt go to alaska btw.

been to both. Hawaii should be ideal for couples and Alaska for a nice group. If you like snorkelling, scuba, hiking and beautiful drives then go for hawaii. If you like to glaciers, mountains, northern lights go for alaska both are expensive.

I am sure there is but Hawaii is very very touristy. 

Alaska is touristy in some places but rest of is just wilderness so you can explore as much as you want to. Of course be careful with those Kodiak bears
