మన పురాణగాథ రామాయణాన్ని ఎంతోమంది ఎన్నో రకాలుగా వెండితెరపై చూపించారు. ఎన్నిసార్లు తీసినా.. ఏ భాషలో తీసినా..  రామాయణం ప్రేక్షకులను ఆకట్టుకుంటూనే వుంది. అది ఆ కథలో వున్న గొప్పతనం. అందుకే, రామాయణంని మళ్లీ మళ్లీ తెరకెక్కించే ప్రయత్నాలను మన నిర్మాతలు చేస్తుంటారు. ఇప్పుడు ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత అల్లు అరవింద్, మధు మంతెన కలసి ఈ రామాయణకథను భారీ ఎత్తున వెండితెరకు ఎక్కించడానికి ప్రణాళికలు వేశారు.

'దంగల్' వంటి విజయవంతమైన చిత్రాన్ని రూపొందించిన నితీశ్ తివారీ, 'మామ్' చిత్ర దర్శకుడు రవి ఉడయార్ కలసి సంయుక్తంగా ఈ ప్రాజక్టుకు దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తారు. మొత్తం మూడు భాగాలుగా హిందీతో పాటు పలు ప్రాంతీయ భాషల్లో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించడానికి డిజైన్ చేస్తున్నారు. 1500 కోట్ల భారీ బడ్జెట్టుతో ఈ చిత్రాలను అత్యున్నత సాంకేతిక విలువలతో నిర్మించడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యారు.

ఇక ఇందులో వివిధ భాషలకు చెందిన ప్రముఖ నటులు ఆయా పాత్రలను పోషిస్తారు. ఈ క్రమంలో శ్రీరాముడి పాత్రను మహేశ్ బాబు పోషిస్తాడని తాజాగా తెలుస్తోంది. సీతాదేవి పాత్రను దీపిక పదుకొణే పోషించే అవకాశం వుంది. ఇక మరో కీలక పాత్ర రావణుడి పాత్రను ప్రముఖ బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు హృతిక్ రోషన్ ధరిస్తాడని సమాచారం.
