Any investing money every month in to mutual funds ? How much interest you are getting at end of year and what is guide to first time investors

I started investing every month in Index funds. 

 

But I invested in MF from the past 5 years but not monthly. Returns are around 50% in few MF and 20% in few and 3% in one(Probably worst investment in chemical sector)

 

But always a good idea. 

 

I started doing VTSAX but the returns were less. So I started taking more risk and going completely stock.
