ఇస్రో చైర్మన్ కే. శివన్ చిక్కుల్లో పడ్డాడు.  ఆయనపై అవినీతి ఆరోపణలు వస్తున్నాయి. జనవరి 14న కే శివన్ పదవీవిరమణ చేయాల్సి ఉండగా..కేంద్రప్రభుత్వం ఆయన పదవీకాలాన్ని పొడిగించింది.

 

కాగా తాజాగా కే. శివన్ తన కుమారుడు సిద్ధార్థ్ కు నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా ఇస్రోలో ఉద్యోగం ఇచ్చారన్న ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి. దీనిపై సెంట్రల్ విజిలెన్స్ కమిషన్ (సీవీసీ) ఫిర్యాదు నమోదు చేసింది.

ఇస్రో చైర్మన్ శివన్ రిటైర్ మెంట్ అయిన జనవరి 14కు ముందు ఆయన కుమారుడు సిద్ధార్థన్ కు తిరువనంతపురంలోని ఇస్రో లిక్విడ్ ప్రొపల్షన్ సిస్టమ్స్ సెంటర్ (ఎల్ పీఎస్సీ)లో ఉద్యోగం లభించింది. ఈ నియామకం నిబంధనల ప్రకారం జరగలేదని.. దీనిపై విచారణ నిర్వహించాలని కమిషన్ కు ఫిర్యాదు అందింది.

నిబంధనల ప్రకారం ఇస్రోలో ఒక ఉద్యోగిని నియమించాలంటే స్క్రీనింగ్ రాతపరీక్ష ఇంటర్వ్యూ నిర్వహించాలి. కానీ సిద్ధార్థ్ కు కేవలం ఇంటర్వ్యూ నిర్వహించి ఉద్యోగం ఇచ్చారని ఇస్రో ఉద్యోగి నారాయణన్ సీవీసీకి ఫిర్యాదు చేయడంతో కేసు నమోదు చేశారు.

అయితే పోస్టు నియామకం నిబంధనల ప్రకారమే జరిగిందని కే.శివన్ కార్యాలయం వెల్లడించింది.
