* Work with Developer on Code Reviews ( help
eliminate unit testing defects )

* Understand Sev 1 - Sev 2 defects

* Work on fixing defects and sync with core
developer

* Guide Testing team in debugging defects /
isssues

* Help testing team to distinguish code related
defect Vs Non coding defects

* Help testing team in developing & maintaing
automated tools & unix utilities to improve
testing processes

* Work with interfacing application developers
in resolving critical issues

* Second line of defence for Production issues
where testing presence is reqd

* Provide On Call Support during test execution
and other times as required by business

* Achieving 100% schedule adherence and Zero
delivery defects

* Manage Technical issues, coding and
configuration to ensure delivery of
module/project

* Involving performance engineering activities
with test team and performance team

Required Skills

* Background in server-side business component
development using EJB, MDB, Webservices.

* Required skills :Java, J2EE, EJB,XML,
Webservices, websphere

* Hands on Working knowledge in MDB, Websphere
MQ desired

* Desired skills: XML Parsers, JMS, Webservice
Design and implementation using Axis
(SOAP/HTTP & SOAP/JMS), Weblogic,RDBMS, SQL,
Shell scripting

* Working knowledge in Unix, Shell Scripting

* Strong knowledge on Object Oriented
Architecture and Design * Knowledge on Telecom
domain and Inventory Management System

* Strong foundation in SDLC concepts & exposure
to quality processes

* Development / Business Knowledge on
Telcordias ntwk inventory products (like Xng,
A&D, etc) or Cramer ntwk inventory products is
strongly desired
