How you respond to all those situations becomes your destiny.

how about responding to all those situations itself is part of a game called fate?

Everyone's fate is different. Your fate doesn't determine your destiny, but how you respond to your fate determines your destiny.

I am sure there is a certain degree of deterministic nature to it, but the scale of it is too vast to make it seem random?

Are you saying that something is preventing you from responding to your fate?

No, how you respond to a situation is based on you alone.

a friend of mine broke his leg when a coconut tree feel on him when he is sleeping outside his house. doctors said he cant walk in his life..thats his fate

he took it as a challenge and in few months he started walking slowly doctors are amazed. this is his destiny, as per you

it is in his fate that he will over come the challenges and he would walk again.

This part is right, he responded to his fate and started walking again, that's his destiny. If he did not respond the way he did, he wouldn't be walking again. So, it's not in his fate that he will overcome his challenge, it's because of how he responded that overcame his challenges.

there is neither a fate nor a destiny.it is what we assume in our minds.
