Reliance Power UMPP coal plant 2010 lo tender gelichindhi , afterwards land acquisition for over 2000 acres was done and boundary wall was built . 

R power backed out of the project citing rising coal prices and the land is stuck in a legal battle over the penalty that Rpower needs to pay  due to breaking of contract . 

This prime land of over 2000 acres is less than 5 km to the port lying unused
