The update is that Venkatesh has decided to do the remake and as per the news, it will be launched on the 5th of March in a grand manner. Suresh Productions will be bankrolling this film and Jeetu Joseph, who made the original will direct the Telugu remake.

part 2 is continuation of part 1..not completely new story.. how u compare both separately

most sequels are barely related to part 1 n complte new story n actors tho teestar so assam they r not really sequels...this one is perfect sequel..
