It may look silly but both organisation represent powerful group of people . There is a lot of clout and financial oppurtunity by taking over these organisations .

CM level access anytime , favours from big shot IAS , IPS , etc .  

Maybe not for TANA anymore but still a lot of money to be made

 most people didn't know all of this , people thought it was a cultural / philanthropic  organisation   , most newbies don't really know the power dynamics behind them .

The big tragedy is telugu people don't have any unity due to these corrupt caste associations .

In america you can gain a lot of power and oppurnities by forming a powerful lobby , for example Jews .   Right now telugu people's lobbying power far behind gujju, punjabi , tamil , Hindi speakers and even malayalis .
