My 2c. You get paid based on content/business value you create. Movie stars,enterprenuers,top tech execs are all creating content . Easy to look tv actors down but they are entertaining a ton of ppl hence getting paid accordingly. We live in the illusion writing code is the biggest thing in life. You are not creating any content right. So there are 1000's who do that. Adi chesta idi chesta cheppadam very easy. Can you risk what all you have in life(Atleast 50%) and follow your passion? Ask yourself that question. Industry/stocks/life rewards the biggest risk takers

you get paid by how assertive you are about the value you create. the economy works for the loudest, most assertive people. Its a race. No one is gonna give it to you, until you ask them, sometimes threaten them.
