yes , I read it ....  it is not americans , even in india , canada and many other countries housing market in same situation .....  human psychology is same  everywhere , in scarcity we feel FOMO but if something is available freely , we don't care about that .... housing boom make people FOMO

I think this article is specific to people rushing and not buying the house they like, it is not about not right time for buying houses..

Bidding with out inspection condition, it is always a risk buyer is taking.

Sir Canada housing market is beyond reach u can only buy house if u live prairies quebec  rest of all is a dream

The buyer can also back out if they find any issues during inspection... now they are waiving off that privilege when submitting the offer
